This was our first time in kayaks. Polly and John suggested that we get one double sea kayak and two single sea kayaks. Nina was much more comfortable in the double kayak, after trying what appeared to be a more wobbly single sea kayak, so we mostly used the double one. It held a lot of gear for our 5-day trip.
